For the price, its sturdier than I thought. Shelves are nice height for notebook binders. Easy to assemble as long as you don't follow the directions. Step one was to install the feet into the first shelf, then turn the shelf over. When you do, the feet fall off. Once the first set of riser are in, the feet stay put.
Also when assembling, make sure all the seams on the shelves are on the same side (facing the wall).

I really can't say anything bad about this little shelving display. I ordered it to serve as a sort of bedside table and it's performed beautifully thus far. The assembly was a breeze and the maintenance on it is easy - wipe down with a dry cloth to keep the dust away and occasionally run a damp cloth over it to keep things looking spiffy. The color is spot on with everything else "espresso" we own and all the shelves were in good condition when I opened the package.

It -is- a bit wobbly, so definitely do as they say and place anything heavy on the BOTTOM, not the top. That really should be common sense, though, on something this tall and narrow.

I have had this for about 4 months. On the positive side are the large display numbers,

which I can read easily without glasses, the digital display showing the alarm set times

and the ability to set the alarm for weekdays only and/or week ends. I always use the radio

as the wake-up and the main negative about this clock radio is that the radio will go on

and then turn off on its own, sometimes after just a few minutes and then it may or may

not turn back on again. It acts as though the snooze button is being pressed, even though

it is not. The length of time it is off is variable and I sometimes will fall asleep again

and have been late because it did not come back on at all. I notice another review which

mentions the same problem in an older radio but mine is new. The radio itself does have

good sound quality for one in this price range. However, because of its unreliable function,

I would not purchase thiis again.

Update: Feb 19,2012 I have now had this for 7 months. The problem with this radio turning

itself on and off has gotten even worse. It will do this at any time, not just around the

times the alarms are set for. Because of this, I have to keep it unplugged all the time,

except when I actually want to listen to the radio. So it does not even function as a

bedside clock. Terrible purchase, wasted money and will have to be replaced.

This was ordered from an outside source from Amazon but through Amazon. I received a used radio and the serial number on the dog-eared box was different than the one on the radio and the display didn't work right. I will only buy products stocked by Amazon from now on.

When I first got it home, plugged it in and watched it set the time I was in love with the clock. Whenever the power went out the clock faithfully set it self. Dual alarms had separate physical switches making it easy to set and turn on and off.

The first issue I had was the wave sensor snooze. Basically waving your hand (or anything) withing 3 feet of the clock will snooze the alarm. I am a deep sleeper and I have the clock on my night stand. When the alarm goes off sometimes I roll over and "trigger" the wave sensor to snooze. That is not good but I just pointed the clock away (making the time a little harder to see, but I still loved it.

Then one day the clock decided to set it self to the wrong time..6 hours in the future...So I had to set it by hand back to the real time...everytime the power went out it would reset itself to the wrong time...awful. Worse then that occasionally the clock would display garbage. And this morning was the last straw when the clock read 7:09 for 20 minutes.

Wish I had 2x as many. We've been diligent about not taking these containers from one temp to a drastic other as I've read so many reviews that say don't... but otherwise they're well worth the money.

Anchor Hocking 92093 Review by Don't Shop! Adopt!

Pros:

Sturdy
Glass doesn't leach anything into food and doesn't stain/absorb odor
Glass is made in USA
Reasonable price for glass storage
Preferred to Snap Lock style because I've seen tabs break off/ wear out

Cons:

Lids are still plastic and made in China
Not perfectly leak-proof

Bottom Line:

I would recommend these and ended up buying an additional set. The seal on these is not perfect, but then again I've never seen one that is and the seal is far superior to my old plastic Rubbermaid containers. When I say 'not perfect' I mean that if you put liquid in one and invert the container you might get a few drips. If you get the 10 piece set, many of the bottoms will nest inside each other or stack like bowls. I hand wash the lids so they don't deform with time and so that the high heat of the dishwasher doesn't release any chemicals from the plastic. No problems with the glass chipping and the bottoms have been through dishwasher several times. Amazon usually has the best price on the 10 pc. set, but Target, Sur La Table, and several other places carry individual pieces too.

I just received my 10 piece storage set and am very happy. The bowls are solid and the lids fit tight while still being easy to put on and off. They nestle into one another, so they don't take up much space in my cabinet. I think the 7 cup and 4 cup sizes will be used the most. I wish they had a couple of larger sizes in the round, as the 7 cup is not very big. I am definitely going to order one or two more sets to meet my needs; perhaps even the 11 cup rectangular one. The price is very reasonable. I am not using these to transport food for lunches, so can't speak about leakage, but they are great for storing hot leftovers. (I also have BPA plastic containers, I use for produce, but I never put hot food into them, even though they are BPA free; hot food in plastic, just feels wrong.) This review can't speak for longevity; however the pieces do come with a five year warranty from chips and cracks, so the other reviewer should have returned hers instead of throwing it away. I don't think the lids are part of the warranty, but at least you can buy replacements if need be. (Lids are a little costly when compared to the cost for the set. Lids cost between $1.00-$3.50 depending on size; so I will be sure to hand wash and care for them as best as possible.)

I like these so much, I will probably also order extra sets for Christmas presents! Happy customer!
